Anand Nayyar

Dr. Anand Nayyar's research focuses on intelligent sensing and network optimization in energy and power systems, with core directions including wireless sensor network technology for power systems, application of swarm intelligence in power optimization, and energy and power network simulation and modeling. He is currently a Professor,Vice Chairman, and Director of the IoT and Intelligent Systems Lab at the School of Computer Science, Duy Tan University, Vietnam. He has published more than 250 academic papers in high-impact factor journals indexed by ISI (SCI/SCIE/SSCI) as well as Scopus/ESCI-indexed journals. With an h-index of 75 and an i-index of 300, he has been listed in Stanford University's Top 2% of the World's Most Influential Scientists for six consecutive years (2019-2024).

Mehdi Gheisari

Dr Mehdi Gheisari is a Stanford-ranked Top 2% Scientist (2024–2025). With a PhD in Cyberspace Security, he focuses on privacy-preserving and security solutions for optical-enabled critical infrastructures. His work bridges cybersecurity with optical technology, addressing key conference themes including security protection/resilient recovery of power all-optical communication networks, privacy preservation for optical sensing data in smart power systems, and secure synergy between optical communication and power intelligent computing.  With 3600+ citations (h-index 32) and publications in top journals like IEEE Internet of Things Journal and IEEE Computer, he is a leading voice in advancing secure, interoperable optical technology integration for next-gen power grids.

Umesh C. Pati

Umesh C. Pati

Dr. Umesh C. Pati is a Full Professor at NIT Rourkela's Electronics and Communication Engineering Dept., current Chairperson of its International Students Cell, and former Head of Career Development Center (3 years). His research focuses on optics and energy-related areas, with an emphasis on solar street light systems, particularly control technologies. He has 2 books, 150+ papers, 4 Indian patents, and participates in India’s IMPRINT project.
